Whitehill Community Academy’s nursery is purpose built and was recently fortunate to obtain a grant from DfE to expand allowing us to offer 30 Hour Free Childcare places. We are rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and provide quality childcare for children aged 3 to 4.
We deliver the best childcare and education to the children by ensuring that all our nursery staff have in-depth knowledge and understanding gained through continuing professional development in education and higher-level qualification training. We have a team of long servicing staff, who have a range of childcare qualifications ranging from Nursery Nurse to Qualified Teachers Status. The nursery is open for 36 weeks of the year and operates from 8:30am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday. We provide morning and all day nursery sessions for both 15 and 30 hour funded places.
Booking patterns will always be arranged to fit around parents’ needs for their child (subject to availability). If you need wrap around care outside of our core hours, we have spaces available for breakfast club and after school club in the Extended School - The Zone (click here).
